Check holder Cards

I made these cards for my parents to use for their Christmas gifts to the family.  My friend Doris Aiken gave me the idea for the 6x6 card scored at 3".  Also it was her idea to use the mitten inside to hold the check.  Thanks Doris.  I hope all my friends and family have a blessed Christmas.

Snowman Tea Light

This is the cute snowman tea light I made for my scrapbook friends that I have lunch with every Saturday.  I got the idea from Becky Roberts(Inking Idaho).  I used the itty bitty banner framelits to make the scarf.  Mine is the melted snowman look.(of course, it's too warm in Florida for snowmen).  The eyes and mouth are pearls colored with a black sharpie.

Beautiful Season Card

I used this stamp set last year for my holiday cards.  This year I had made so many different cards for classes and club cards that my friends and family will all receive different cards.  This is a one of a kind one I made after I saw it on line.  It was sure faster than the ones I colored with markers last year!

Club Christmas Card from months ago

My original club has been making a Christmas card each month.  They thought they would then be prepared for Christmas.  Well, there is always something else we need to add.  When you are a crafter people expect handmade gifts from you!  This wreath was made with the Delicate Doilies stamp set.  Many stamp sets can be adapted for holiday cards.  It is embossed with gold embossing powder.  The rhinestones are colored with a sharpie permanent ink marker.

Love those punches

I used Punch pack merry minis #126882  and the postage punch #122344 to make this super simple card.  The champagne glimmer #127885 and red glimmer paper #121790 give it that extra sparkle.  Order your champagne glimmer paper before January 3 when it will no longer be available.  Click shop online button above to go to my online shopping.

December 13th Canal Class

These are the cards nancy prepared for class on Thursday.  The class loved using the silver smooch spritz on the top card.  It gave the flower such dimension.  Everyone loved the Summer Starfruit and Elegant Eggplant combination.  We are now taking reservations for class on January 10th.  At the December 27th class we will take reservations for January 24th.

Italian Cheese Bread from the luncheon

I use by Kitchen aid blender with the dough hook to make this dough.  It is then placed in a greased bowl to rise about 20minutes or longer until doubled.  Punch down dough.  Wait 5 minutes.  Then roll out into 12-14" circle.  Place on greased pizza pan.  Place other ingredients on top.  Bake in 425-450 degree preheated oven for 10-15 minutes.  I use this dough for my pizza crust too.  I do not grease the pan.  I put corn meal on the bottomof a 10x 15 cookie sheet.  It makes a nice crisp crust.  It's like a traditional crust at pizza restaurants.

Festive Cranberry Salad

This is the festive Cranberry Salad I made at the luncheon I hosted on Friday for my 18 club members.  We had a turkey salad, tuna salad, italian cheese bread, muffins and holiday cookies.  This recipe came from Taste of Home magazine.  I will give you the italian cheese bread recipe tomorrow.

Card for my team members

This is the easel card I made for My team members.  We all met at Cane Garden for lunch and exchanged cards.  If your wondering how I made the background behind the baby Jesus, I used the Window Frames Collection Framelits #129021.  I put in in only part way.  I ran it through the Big Shot until it clicked and then backed it out.  I then folded the cut part down.  I inked the edges on the cards I gave out.  This one was not inked.  It is embossed with Lacy Brocade #127819 and Holiday Frame embossing folder .  All 3 framelits and embossing folders are in the Holiday catalog.  The Holiday frame embossing folder and First Christmas stamp set #127991(C) #127988(W) will not be available after January 3rd.  I am happy to say this was my own design as I hate when I can't remember where I saw and idea.  I can tell you I did see some place cards in the new Spring Catalog coming out January 3rd that I think were created with this framelit in this manner.  At Right is the ouside of card.  The middle picture is the inside of card.

Seabreeze Stampers card

I made this card last month at our advanced stamping club in The Villages.  It was a neat technique.  We wove the strips of paper and then applied thick embossing powder to the entire woven part.  The rhinestone adds a nice bling.  It didn't photograph well.  The embossing powder did turn out a little ivory instead of white.

Cheery card with a new fold

One of my club members made a Christmas card with this fold.  I had to try it out myself.  On November 27th my clubs made this card.

Up in the air over you

This is a club card for December.  I'm killing two birds with one stone.  It will also be my hubby's Happy Anniversary number 32 on January 3rd.  This card idea was on stampin' Up's demo site.  I changed the glimmer detail to a heart instead of a flower.

Club card from a few months ago

I CASED this card and I don't remember who did it.  My club enjoyed learning 2 step stamping.
