Canal Street Class Cards from March 24, 2015

The top card Nancy used Petite Pairs stamp set and the hexagon and itty bitty accents punch.

This second card of Nancy's used Perfect Pennants and Kinda Eclectic stamp sets.  She also used Beautiful Butterflies Embosslit..

This card I designed using Something Borrowed Designer Series Paper and Sahara Sand Ink.  I also used Window Framelits, Finishing Touches edgelits and Flower medallion Punch.  The stamp sets used are Big News and Petal Potpourri.

This is a cased card I taught using Moon Lake stamp set, Hello Honey Ink.  I used the Sale-A-Bration embellishment Lost Lagoon twine and frayed the ends to look like a tassel.

Hooray It's a Kit Class

Last Wednesday I had two fellow stampers come to my house to make the 20 cards from the Hooray It's Your Day Project Kit.  I provided the ink pads, reinkers, Hooray It's Your Day stamp set and a few odd embellishments.  The stampers purchased the Hooray It's Your Day Kit to attend the class.  Most items were from the kit.  We also made some variations using Crazy About You and Petal Potpourri stamp sets. I think they did a great job.  Let me know what you think.

Canal Class Card March 12, 2015

So sorry it took me so long to post this card.  I am trying to catch up on housework, yard work, laundry and grocery shopping.  I am so glad to be back to card making!  This card is made with Celebrate Today stamp set and Irresistibly Yours DSP.  I sponged it with Soft Sky ink using a scallop circle to make a cloud pattern.  The cardstock colors are Real Red and Island Indigo.  My stampers were happy to make a masculine card.

Carrie's Cards from Canal Street on February 26, 2015

This card uses Bloom With Hope which is a hostess set and Bordering Blooms #133660.  I used Hello Honey, Very Vanilla, and Chocolate Chip cardstock.  I used Chocolate Chip and Hello Honey ink.  The photopolymer stamps make it so easy to layer the bordering flower. 

This second card I Cased from Vicki Hayes an Artisan Designer from UK.  See her card at http://craftingclare.blogspot.com   I added a Basic Black mat.  I embossed my Moon Lake image and added some trim and a Soft Sky artisan label punched Happy Birthday from Label Love.  Let me know what you think of my changes.

These are Nancy's 2 cards above.  She showed the class how easy it was to burnish in the desired color on the Irresistibly Yours specialty paper available for free with a $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration.  Rubbing hard on the embossed area with a tissue when your done inking really makes it pop by bringing the pattern back to a bright white.  I love how she showed them to do the ombre affect on the top card by starting light and then medium and dark at the top.  The top card is stamped with Painted Petals and the bottom card with Butterfly Basics.
