I'm So Very Happy and Excited!

This is the card I swapped with fellow demonstrators from The Villages yesterday.  A group of 8 of us went to Orlando on Monday for the 2014-2015 annual catalog premiere.  I received this stamp set So Very Happy at Leadership in January.  You will be able to purchase it on June 2nd.  I used Wisteria Wonder cardstock and DSP.  I also used the circle thinlit, blossom punch, heart framelit, 2 1/2 ink circle punch.  I can't wait to show you all the cool new product in the upcoming catalog!

Canal Street Class April 24th, 2014

These are the 2 cards I designed for class.  The top card I used Secret Garden framelits, Floral framelits, Beautifully Baroque embossing folder and Crosses of Hope(retired) and Trust God stamp sets.  The second card I used Geometrical stamp set, triangle punch, itty bitty punch pack and Kaleidoscope designer series paper. Some parts are heat embossed with silver embossing powder, other I used Metallic Encore silver ink.

These are Nancy's 2 cards.  She used Retro Fresh paper, Another Great Year stamp set for the first card.  The second card uses Lacy and Lovely stamp set and Delicate Designs embossing folder.

Nancy's Cards from Canal Street Class April 10, 2014

Nancy used Watercolor Wonder Washi Tape, Happy Watercolor stamp set found on page 22 of Occasions Catalog. 

This card Nancy used the hexagon hive thinlit die found on page 26 of Occasions Catalog.  The stamp sets are That's the Ticket, Papillion Potpourri, Flower Shop,and Petite Petals. 

My Cards from Canal Street Class April 10, 2014

These are the cards I designed for class on April 10th.  I saw the idea for a punch art camera on Stampin' Connections.  I thought it worked great with the new polaroid picture die.  Instead of putting a stamped image in the center, I filled it with designer paper-retro fresh.  The you make me smile stamped image is from A Round Array.

The card below I designed after seeing a card by Mary Brown.  She used the same designer paper with the flower from Simple Stems.  The black dots in the flower were added with a marker.  The layout is my own.

Celebrating 60 Years

 

I good friend just celebrated a special birthday.  This is the card I sent.  Products used were Just Sayin',Word Bubble Framelits, Retro Fresh designer series paper.

Scallop Tag Topper Closure Card

This is another April Club Card.  I watched Tanya Bell and Dee Slater's You tube videos to learn how to teach this card to my club.  It uses the new Scallop Tag topper punch page 35 of the Occasions Catalog item #133323 for $22.95.  I hope they all enjoy making this card!

Christmas in April

Some of my Club Members have requested to make one Christmas card each month.  I cased this card from Deborah Smart.  I saw it posted on Pintrest in December.  I added the Organza ribbon and left off a snowflake stamp under the flower.  I used white craft ink and white embossing powder on vellum.

Rose Red Cheer Up Card

 

I cased this card from Mary Brown.  I changed the color and the location of my sentiment.  We are making this card at Club this month.  the stamp set is Gift of Kindness.

Pucker Up Buttercup!

I was just playing one day in February with 1 new stamp  sets from the Occasions Catalog Geometrical and 2 from the Annual Catalog Crazy Mixed Up Love and Happy Hour.  I love Marina Mist and Daffodil Delight together!

Vivid Vases February Club Card

I love the vivid colors in the Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper.  I thought this made a bright cheery get well card.  Then I embellished with card stock cut with the triangle punch and a pearl.

Canal Street Recreation Center Class March 13

These are the two cards I taught at class on March 13.  The card above I cased from Barb Mulkin.  I love the bright colors--Bermuda Bay and Tangerine Tango.  The sun was created with the banner punch and 1 3/4" circle punch.  The clouds were made with one of  the word bubble framelits.

The second card is a Z fold card.  Cut the base 4 1/4" x 11 and score at 3" and 6".  The stamp sets I used are Vivid Vases, Thoughts and Prayers, Background Builders, and Apothecary Art.

These are Nancy's two cards. The front of the starburst card was embossed with the Beautifully Baroque embossing folder.
