People Like You

This is another card my club will be making this month.  Both cards are embossed with gold embossing powder.  I layer a little gold foil paper behind the top left corner to give it some extra bling.  I inked the designer series paper layer with coordinating ink to make it pop a bit.  I can't wait to try my new Blendabilities markers with this stamp!

Hello Sailor

Anyone who knows me, knows I buy any stamp set with a nautical or beachy theme.  This card I created for my club this month.  I love the hardwood background stamp for these beachy cards.  The colors are Cheery Cobbler, Smokey Slate, and Night of Navy.   Get this stamp set from the Occasions catalog before June 1st.

Simple Stems Club Card

I will make this card with my Clubs this month.  We will use the stamp sets Simple Stems and So Sorry.  The colors are Primrose Petals, Whisper White, and Soft Suede.  We will use the Secret Garden Framelits to cut out the largest part of the flower.  The other layers will be hand cut.  we will finish off the center with a gold sequin and pearl.  We also will use the adorning accents embossing folder and Edgelits that are retiring.  I also used Window Framelits and Square Framelits to create this card.  Thanks for looking.

Happy Mother's Day

This is the card I sent to my mother-in-law for Mother's Day.  I hope she likes it.  I used the Blessed Easter stamp set.  I did not mount it on the wood block.  Instead I  used an Exacto knife and carefully cut between the Happy Easter words and the tulips.  I then attached the Clear-Mount Foam item        # 124236.  2 sheets of 8- 1/2" x 11" for $10.95.    

April Paper Pumpkin Kit

I love the paper pumpkin kits!  I took this kit to Scrapbooking at Bridgeport Rec Center on Saturday.  It was so nice that almost everything I needed was in the kit.  I added half a sheet of Whisper White Paper to make the card.  Everything else was in the kit.  I did need to bring my clear acrylic block and scissors and adhesive.  I plan on giving the cute frame to my mother for Mother's Day.  It even included the cute wrapping.  Starting next month anyone who joins paper pumpkin will not get the starter kit anymore.  They will get the kit of the month with a thinner acrylic block in it.  You also can get hostess credit on a subscription of 1, 3 or 6 months.  I love my little Paper Pumpkin Escapes.  You may want to give it a try. 

Bonvoyage Carol

This is the card I gave Carol Seitz before she left on her SU cruise to the Western Caribbean.  I hope her daughter and her are having a wonderful time.  I can't wait until she gets back to hear about her trip.  The stamp sets I used were Around the World, Hello Sailor, and Hardwood.  The cruise ship die is not a Stampin' Up product.
