Snowy Scene

I'm home now from my Transatlantic Cruise/European vacation and ready to dive into Fall classes.  I am so glad I took the time to prepare for classes before departing on August 30.  It was much easier to relax.  I know on those sea days I would be thinking of all that I could be getting done instead of sitting with a book.   I hope you enjoyed seeing all my creations for the past 2-3 weeks. l am most looking forward to seeing all my friends that were away all Summer.  Welcome back!  Oh yeah about the card.  It's another Hearth and Home card which we will make in my Christmas Classes.  Contact me today to sign up.

Festival of Trees 2015

I didn't want to neglect my stamp sets that carried over from last year.  Of course I paired it with some brand new product from both the Annual and Holiday catalog.  I love to do heat embossing on Christmas cards.  The green is Cucumber Crush.  I love the Holiday Fancy Foil Designer Vellum.  It is $11 for 9 sheets.  There are 3 Christmas tree, 3 Candy Cane stripes, and 3 snowflakes.  I will be using these papers in my cards for my Christmas card classes.  They are set for October 15 and 29.  Contact me today to reserve your spot.  In each class we  will make 5 different cards for $20.

Rudolph with His Nose So Bright

This is another quick card I designed using Home for Christmas Paper.  The real red ribbon is retired.  I cut out Rudolph.  I used circle thilit dies for the holly paper.  The Merry was cut with the red foli paper from the Holiday Catalog.  Thanks for taking the time to look today.

Winter Wishes

Here is a color blocked card using images from Winter Wishes stamp set and Merry Moments designer series paper stack.  I love the vintage look of this set.  It reminds me of my happy childhood sledding down paper boy hill, skating outside, and catching snowflakes on my tongue.  Funny even though these are happy memories, I'm glad I live in Florida and don't have to shove the stuff anymore!  How about you?

Blushing Snowflakes

Every once and awhile I like to make a Christmas card with non-traditional colors.  This one is Blushing Bride card stock with Gold Vellum, gold sequins  trim and the merry thinlit die is cut from gold foil paper.  I embossed the snowflakes with you guessed it--gold embossing powder.  Thanks for looking.

Santa in the Window

Here is another Hearth & Home thinlit die card.  I cased this card from Pinterest.  I cut Santa, the tree and presents out of the designer paper Home for Christmas.  I love the vintage look of this paper.  The pine boughs are from Winter Wishes stamp set.  The little bow is from Handpicked Framelits.  The brick embossing folder makes a prefect base for this window dies.  I sponged the Real Red card stock with Whisper White Craft Ink.
