Happy Day Card

This is another card from the open house.  I used a old Mojo Sketch to design it.  The stamped image is from Happy Day stamp set.  The Very Vanilla mat is embossed with the Beautifully Baroque Folder.  The DSP used is Modern Medley.  I received both for recruiting during Sale-A-Bration.  To make the black piece, I used Delicate Doilies Sizzlits L embellished with a clay flower,which I heat embossed with silver embossing powder.  I love the simply clay flowers.  Have a bunch of white ones made up and then color or emboss to match your card!

Open House Door Prize

This is the folder I made for one of the door prizes at Carol Seitz and my recent open house.  It held 4 cards all made with the Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper.  I used the new Simply Pressed Clay  #130685 $6.95 and Buttons & Blossoms Simply Pressed Clay Molds #131272 $7.95.  I used reinker to dye the clay.   When it was dry, I added crystal effects to get that glossy appearance.  Check back tomorrow to see the 4 cards that were in the folder.

Canal Street Class June 13th Carrie's cards

These are the 2 cards I prepared for class.  I cased the top from a blog and have lost the name of the person.  I used the new Label Love Bundle #132722 $28.75 clear mount and #132723 $34.75 in wood mount.  We used washi tape for the first time at class.  It's such an easy way to add designs to a card.  The second one is Janet Yates from  Stampin' Connections.  I used the photopolymer set Bombs Away.  Order these products at my online store click here carrieking.stampinup.net

June 13th Canal Street Class Cards

These are the two cards Nancy prepared for the June 13th class at Canal Street.  She used 3 new stamp sets,  3 new embossing folders and a new punch.  Don't you just love the new colors too?

I'm Going to San Diego!

As many of you know I have been working very hard to earn a 3 night, 4 day Stampin' Up awards trip in September.  As of Friday June 7th  I have met that goal.  I have to thank all of you who attend my classes at Canal Street, my club members, my new recruits(7 since August) and all of you who took my extra Disney punch art, printers tray and scrapbooking classes.  I have the best upline who gave me awesome support.  I went to the Stampin' Up Convention last July with her.  My goal after Convention was to get one recruit so I could attend the leadership event in Orlando January 2013.  Nancy Thompson, one of my club members said she would help me out.  Thank you Nancy.  She now teaches with me.  I don't think that is what she had in mind in August.  Anyway, in no way did I ever imagine attending these Stampin' Up events would  spur me on to try to earn an awards trip, but here I am thanks to all of you.  You can see more photos and an interesting video about this historic hotel by clicking   The US GRANT, San Diego Photo Gallery
