Canal Street Class May 9, 2013- Nancy's Cards

These are the 2 cards  prepared for class on May 9.  The top card used Tea Shoppe stamp set and is retiring May 31.  The bottom card used Just Believe stamp set that is also retiring.  We are also saying good-bye to Lucky Limeade and Regal Rose ink.  Sorry this post was sitting in my drafts the last month.  Now that the open house is over I will catch up on posting class cards.

Last two May Club Cards

Cased the first card from the Spring Catalog.  I used the leftover pieces to create the second card.  There is no waste.  Both cards used Parker's Patterns designer series paper.  The colors are perfect for masculine cards.  i added a designer brad inside one of the cards.

May Club Card

I used this stamp set for the first time.  I love both the flower image and the swirly greetings include in this set. 

Get Whale Soon

This is one of the club cards for this month.  I sure wish this set had made it to the 2013-2014 Catalog.    The matching clearlits die is just to cute!  I had to use Bashful Blue retiring paper one more time.  I'm going to miss it.

Danielle's Birthday

Today is my oldest daughter's birthday.  She was born the day after Mother's Day.  Like this year it often falls on Mother's Day.  I will be hand delivering this birthday card to her on the Celebrity Ship The Century, next week.  She will be on this ship for the next six months dancing on stage.  Needless to say it is a very happy birthday for her because she is living her dream.  That's what I love most about her.  SHE DOESN'T GIVE UP!  She just keeps pursuing her dream until she gets it.  We will be sailing to Alaska for a week and watching her perform, like PROUD PARENTS.(stamps sets used Fabulous Florets, Feels Good, Really Good Greetings)  Don't you just love the new ink color Bermuda Bay?  It pairs beautifully with Melon Mambo.

Celebrating 100 Years

My husband's Grandmother is celebrating her 100th Birthday Today!!!  What an honor it was to make a special birthday card to give to her on this special day that most of us will never live to experience.  The first card will be from my husband and I.  The second one from my eldest daughter and the third will be from my youngest daughter.  We will all be celebrating with her this Saturday.  Stamp sets used A round Array, Stipled Blossoms, Banner Greetings and my favorite retired set Watercolor trio.

Second Scrapbook Class

First Scrapbooking Class

Cute Single Layer Cards

All you need are a few markers, one stamp set and scissors.  Stamp along the edges, and cut around the outside edge.

Using Leftover Kits

Do you recognize this layout from Christmas.  I used my leftover kits with my beginner neighborhood class.  Doesn't look like Christmas anymore.

Going, Going, Gone

This card was made during a beginner stamping class with my neighbors.  They were just practicing stamping the flower and I couldn't throw them away.  So we made a fifth card.  They were so proud of their first creations.  Get this Button Buddies stamp set and Bravo Burgundy ink and paper before it's gone.  Go to my online store click here
