Canal Street Class Cards from May 14, 2015

The first two cards were mine both cased from Pinterest.  I changed up the images/stamp sets on both from those I cased. Just the very edge of the embossing folder was used to give the decorative edge.

These were the cards Nancy taught.  I love the look of gears created with the Starburst Framelits.  Her cards were also cased.

Nancy's Cards fromCanal Street Class February 26, 2015

These are Nancy's 2 cards above.  She showed the class how easy it was to burnish in the desired color on the Irresistibly Yours specialty paper available for free with a $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration.  Rubbing hard on the embossed area with a tissue when your done inking really makes it pop by bringing the pattern back to a bright white.  I love how she showed them to do the ombre affect on the top card by starting light and then medium and dark at the top.  The top card is stamped with Painted Petals and the bottom card with Butterfly Basics.

I used Best Day Ever Stamp Set and Designer Series Paper.  Both are free during Sale-A-Bration with a $50 order.
This card I CASED from Pinterest.  I created my own Designer Series paper(yellow stripes) with the Work of Art stamp set.  The colors used were Night of Navy, Rose Red, Daffodil Delight and Wild Wasabi.  The stamp set I used is Painted Petals.

My Leadership Swap Cards

I just returned from three wonderful days at the Stampin' Up Leadership conference in Orlando.  We were sad that this was the last one.  We are looking forward to future Stampin' Up events called Stampin' Up On Stage Live.  One of my favorite things about attending Stampin' Up events is swapping cards with other demos.  It is so great to get ideas and meet other demonstrators from all over the country.  There were several demos from Europe at this years event also.  I love all the inspiration I get from attending.  I can't wait to share all my swap cards with you at class on February 12 at Canal Street Rec Center!
