Remarkable Bleaching Techniques

This is the card I made for a recent team meeting.  I taught the group the bleaching technique at the last meeting.  I used Pool Party cardstock and DSP.  I embossed with white embossing powder.  I then used full strength bleach on the end of a cotton tipped swab to lighten the paper inside the image.  I added Crushed Curry to the stamen of the flower and Pear Pizzaz to the stem with markers.  I heat embossed with white powder the greeting on a strip of Pear Pizzaz cardstock.  The Pool Party glitter ribbon gives the card a little sparkle.  Thanks for looking.

Canal Street Class cards from March 10, 2016

These are the 2 cards Nancy taught at class on March 10.  The lower card used the spotlight technique.  First the image was stamped with black ink.  Then the image was stamped on the circle and colored in.
These are the 2 cards I taught at class.  The first card uses Friends & Flowers stamp set and Festive Flower Builder punch.  I love how  versatile this stamp set is.  All the images are so different.  I will post other cards with this stamp set.   I used Pool Party and Blushing Bride card stock and ink.  The second peek a boo card I cased from pinterest.  I used the Sale-a-bration set Honeycomb Happiness.  The colors are Cucumber Crush and Daffodil Delight.  The Sale-a-bration ends March 31.  Make a purchase of $50 and earn this set for free.  Click on my shopping button on the right side of this page to shop my online store or contact me today.

Here is the first card I created using the bendi card template.  I used directions from a youtube done by Bibiana.  It is titled Bendi Fold Card Tutorial.  I used Sheltering Tree, Kinda Eclectic, Pedal Pusher, Suite Sayings stamp sets.  I used tree builder punch and a non Srampin' Up fence die I had. I loved how it turned out.  Tomorrow mybteam meets and we will be making a birthday bendi card.

Canal Street Recreation Center Class February 25,2016_Part 2

This first card of Nancy's uses Botanicals for You stamp set.  Earn it for free until March 31 with a $50 purchase.  The big bold saying makes a quick card.
Nancy's second card uses several coordinating butterfly themed products.  She started with the Pretty Petals DSP.  She chose it so she could use Very Vanilla cardstock.  The DSP helped her with color choices.  The Bold Butterfly Framelits and Butterfly Thinlits were some of our favorite new products in the Annual catalog.  The Fluttering 6" x 6" embossing folder coordinates wonderfully.  The coordination of products is one of my favorite things about Stampin' Up products.   Contact me today to place your order or shop my online store by clicking here.

Canal Street Recreation Center Class from February 25, 2016

These are the 2 cards I taught.  I CASEd the cards from Pinterest.  I added ribbon to the top card.  The What I Love stamp set can be earned with a $50 purchase until March 31.  The next 2 pictures are a pop up birthday card.  This is one of the products in the Ocassions catalog that I was really excited about.  The trio of punches coordinates beautifully with the pop up element.  It was so easy to glue the different color candles on the basic gray pop up piece.  Check back tomorrow to see Nancy's cards.
