The top 2 cards were taught by Nancy.  The bottom two cards were taught by Carrie.  If you are assembling these at home, the bottom card has a choice of birthday or valentine or leave it off for a more generic card.  The third card used the Sale-A-Bration set Feeling Sentimental?  It's my favorite sale-a-bration set.  What is your favorite sale-a-bration set?  Leave me a comment by February 14th and there will be a prize drawing to win a Sale-A-Bration set in March.  You can order this set now for free my placing a $50 order now through March 22.  Go to my online store http://carrieking.stampinup.net

Vintage Bike

Do you love vintage cards?  I do.  Two Sale-A-Bration sets are great for vintage cards:  Feeling Sentimental and Vintage Verses.  Get them free until March 22 with a $50 purchase.  Do you need both?  Buy $100 of product and earn both of them.  The First Edition Specialty Paper is great for these cards. #121878 for $12.95  It has 24 sheets of 12x12 (that's double the number of sheets of other Designer Series Papers).  Other must haves for vintage cards are the Color Spritzer tool pg. 179 of the anual catalog item #107066 $12.95 used with the markers to make ink spots.  Stamping sponges #101610 $3.50 for 3 cut into 8 wedges are great for distressing the edges of paper with ink.  Also try out the  new Stampin' Distressing tool in the Spring Catalog  page 14 item #127562 $4.95.  It roughs up the edges of paper.  Click her to shop my online store

My First Sketch Challenge

Well Folks this is my first attempt at posting on a challenge site.  I used the new Spring Catalog Designers Series Paper Tea for Two.  The stamp set is Tea Shoppe.  I used the Window Frames Collection Framelits a carry over item found on page 36 of the Spring catalog.
The card base Lucky Limeade 5 1/2 x 4, banner mat 2 1/8 x 4
The Designer Series Paper banner 2 x 4
Pink Piroutte Window Frame
Very Vanilla tag and cup
Embellished with pearls and glitter brad
I did a heat emboss with versa mark ink and clear embossing powder and use Pretty in Pink ink to do an emboss resist.  I cut it out and popped it up with demensionals.  See other paper players cards using this sketch

January 10,2013 Canal Street Cards

These are Nancy Thompson's cards from Canal Street Recreation Center from the 10th.  Thank you Nancy for covering class by yourself so I could attend Leadership in Orlando.  Keely Sicher did a great job helping with the class.  I hear that lining up the embossed image to cut with the Secret Garden framelits was a bit of a challenge but certainly worth the beautiful results!
