Center Stage Tampa

I love being a Stampin' Up demonstrator.  It is so much fun to attend events and meet with other demonstrators to share ideas with each other and be with people with the same passion.  Stampin' Up spoils it's leaders with a special event every 6 months.  I went to Tampa on Friday night for the Center Stage event.  We had a special catered dinner, received a gift and had a presentation to help us grow as leaders.  As you can see the table was set very beautifully.  I attended with Deb Pippin from Inverness, Jan Hoyt from The Villages and met a new friend Andrea(top Pic) from St. Petersburg.  The special gift was a planner and tote to hold embellishments and of course they had already filled some of the pockets with embellishments.  Check back tomorrow to see the card I swapped at the On Stage Local event on Saturday.

Canal Street Cards from October 8, 2015

The top card I cased from Pinterest.  I used Garden in Bloom stamp set to create the designer paper look on the background. The ink and card stock colors are Soft Suede, Old Olive, and Hello Honey.  I like the way the soft suede looks like gold.  The tag was made with scallop tag topper punch.

The second card is my own design using Flurry of Wishes stamp set and Snow flurry punch.  Save 15% by buying the bundle.  Stamps and punches make quick cards.  I used Lost Lagoon card stock and ink on the background snowflake.  The punched snowflakes are heat embossed with silver embossing powder.  I added some Bermuda Bay sequins for extra sparkle.  The 3/8" taffeta ribbon is on the clearance rack.

These next two cards were taught by Nancy.  The greeting is from Reason for the Season stamp set.  I love the vintage look of the Home for Christmas designer series paper.  She also used the doily die which is on the clearance rack.

Her second card she used Bordering Blooms and Light Hearted leaves stamp set.  The images were colored with Crushed Curry, Old Olive and Cajun Craze markers.  The Woodlands Embossing Folder makes a great background for this Fall card.  I didn't buy this stamp with the preorder, as I thought I wouldn't have much time this year to make Fall cards.  The more cards I saw made with this, I fell in love with it.  It will be great year round.  It's fun to color in or stamp in one color on colored cardstock.
